Founder of TWTYE

How can we, as a society, do a better job at understanding another person’s viewpoint? Especially when it comes to people who are suffering from some of the hardest and emotionally draining conditions and situations.

Hello everybody!

My name is Chuck Petko. I am the founder and Executive Director of TWTYE, Inc. I am deeply grateful and humbled with this opportunity to share my enthusiasm about our organization with you. Since a young age, I always felt compelled to help people. Through various life experiences, I found my passion in understanding, assisting, and advocating for people affected by addiction and mental health struggles.

I’ve always been motivated by accomplishing a goal that can universally assist people who are struggling with similar problems. I watched family members, friends, and eventually clients receive unsatisfactory and antiquated services that never truthfully resolved underlying problems that contributed to their depression, anxiety, addiction, and other emotional hardships. This led me to a bold conclusion that I need to take action and do my best to offer something different.

Outside of the clinical world, I’ve noticed emotional detachment take place on a societal level, with monetary gains superseding community-based values. TWTYE encourages people to connect, collaborate, and appreciate one another. Our fundamental ideology is based on bringing communities together for positive change. To see and understand from another person’s perspective is an undervalued, yet critically important concept.

What does your vantage point look like? It’s something I was always deeply fascinated by. When I was designing the website and thinking about company names, several ideas flickered through my mind. Then I just started to write. At that point, I was able to visualize the concept in action and the unbelievable impact that this organization could have.

How can we, as a society, do a better job at understanding another person’s viewpoint? Especially when it comes to people who are suffering from some of the hardest and emotionally draining conditions and situations.

There it was:

The World Through Your Eyes

I wholeheartedly believe that understanding and listening to a person can sometimes be enough to help overcome some of the most emotionally destructive and heartbreaking events that transpire on a daily basis. My overwhelming ambition for this company and its potential is vast. If we are able to help one person, its all worth it. Please share your story and reach out to us! I hope to hear from everybody soon.

I am thankful and profoundly honored to have this opportunity to make a difference. None of this would be possible without every single person I’ve encountered to date and every other individual that I will cross paths with in the future.

Thank you for your time in reading this.
